Auto Paint Help?

I just wanted to know whats the BASE COAT price for a (i dont care about all that hight quality crap) auto/car paint job...theres no dents no scratches or anything..its maroon right know and i want to change it to black i just wanted to know the average price range (the cheapist way and a place to go)Auto Paint Help?

to do a color change and do a good job on it the starting price on it would be around 800,and it can go on up ,it really all depends on what kind of paint they use on it,to do a color change is a little more now days ,there's more work to changing colors on a car than just a re-paint on one,good luck with it.
Maroon is a bad color for bleed through, it usually requires a more expensive epoxy primer with a catalyst to keep the under color from effecting the overall outcome, the base coat/clear coat used all depends on the shop you take it to, unless you are doing it yourself, if so martin senor has some decent priced 2 stage systems, just have to check your area to see what is available.
