What can i use to paint the vinyl interior of my auto?

i'm talking about painting the soft side door panels, visors, etc. and can the same type of paint be used to cover the harder plastic interior pieces such as the dash? it's a very old truck and it doesn't need to be professional quality, i just want to make the inside not such hideous colors. What can i use to paint the vinyl interior of my auto?
i am an auto fanatic and i have been doing it for around 6 yrs. you can get some special upholstory paint in your local auto zone or parts store. and i would highly recommened you painting the hard parts with convetional primer paint not to rough ther is smooth one out there and i can promise you that it will look awsome. just be patient and do around 4 layers (thin ones) and sand the primer with the lowest grid sand paper.

you should be ayt.

cudos man for doing your self.

Krylon Fusion paint worked well for me.
krylon plastic fusion paint
Go to your local auto store, and in the paint section they will have vinyl spray paint. i've youed it quite a bit and i think it works excellent. if you use regular spray paint, it will never dry and always be sticky. just do thin coats of the vinyl spray, about 3-4 coats should be good. it costs about 4.99 a can. and im sure you'll only use 1-2
Plastic is a non-porous material that doesn't hold paint well unless you use an acrylic or lacquer, and still won't hold well. It's your prerogative but I suggest drive it till it dies since it's an old truck, unless you have nothing better to do.
