Auto Paint...How do you get a good finish when using a spray paint for touch ups?

My Husband used a dealer paint to do the touches, but now after the paint, and clear coat is on....it looks hazy, not clear and clean....worse than before the touch ups.....I need your advise before this costs me big bucks!!Auto Paint...How do you get a good finish when using a spray paint for touch ups?
You could try polishing the area with ';polishing compound'; available at the auto store. It will tend to blend the whole area together. See the video ';scratch and paint repair';

just say for now , we are about to apply paint, you have to apply approx two to three coats of under coat, when dry after approx i hour sand smooth with 300 to 400 wet and dry ,then apply approx two to three coats of colour,but10 minutes between coats then after approx 15 minutes, apply approx two to three coats of clear coat, then leave for approx i day , then sand wet and dry with 1500 then 2000, untill smooth then fine cut and polish, but the trick is get a piece of cardboard and hold it in your left hand and give it a couple of sprays of paint practise close to your car, then go directly to and do your car, but back approx nine inches from surface, and very light coats about two sweeps not back and forth, waite 5 minutes then again one light coat then same as before, then again untill covered and smooth, the temptation at that stage is to apply thick and alot of paint, thats not what you do. the same with clear coat, good luck.
when using spray cans, go back and forth, and dont get the can too close to the surface and dont leave it in 1 place too long, just a back and forth movement, also spray over the overspray that the paint makes and when its done, there wont be any overspray to see on the surface.
Touch up paint never looks as good as a body shop job.
