How long does it take for an auto paint repair to dry properly?

I've heard they have to let a paint repair ';bake'; after they have repainted it. What is the amount of time that should be allowed before the paint is considered to be finished or ';cured';? (i.e. how many hours?)How long does it take for an auto paint repair to dry properly?
24 hrs is normal before the shop even gives you the car back...most auto paint manufactures recommend only rinsing the car with water for about 90 days, to allow complete curing, and not to use detergents or wax for that long...How long does it take for an auto paint repair to dry properly?
You did have a source...me, heh heh...also, you can do a search for such things as automotive paints, or maybe some different diy sites...
