Im having problems spaying acrylic auto paint?

Hi, Im having trouble with the above mentioned, I mix 1part acrylic auto paint with 1 part acrylic thinners, when i spray from my spray gun I get cobweb like effect, I have adjusted paint flow and air flow but still happens, Is the ration of paint to thinners the problem? ThxIm having problems spaying acrylic auto paint?

I think your mixture is too thick.


I would try mixing 20% paint to 80% thinners. (4:1)


The thinner each coat is, the better.


Many light coats rather than a couple of thick ones.
