I AM ABOUT TO GET MY CAR PAINTED BUT IM NOT SURE WHAT IS THE BEST AUTO PAINT! WHICH IS BETTER? ACRYLIC ENAMEL OR ACRYLIC LACQUER? I SEE THAT ACRYLIC LAQCUER COST MORE.

I had my restored '58 T'Bird painted sky blue with imron paint. Best paint I ever found for autos. Might be some better, but that job still looked like new when I sold it 12 years later.???What is the best type of auto paint?
Acrylic lacquer is old and out dated,don't go that route. Acrylic enamel is a fair paint but not the best and doesn't take a clear coat.If you want a clear coat,the best way to go,is an actual base coat/clear coat paint.
