How many auto pints of paint does it take to cover a full size car with 3 coats??

I have a toyota solora that I want to paint, but I am going to purchase the paint separately. How many pints will it take to cover the car in 3 coats?How many auto pints of paint does it take to cover a full size car with 3 coats??
it will take about a gallon to put three real good coats on it,it takes more than a few pints to do this,unless your using base clear coat,then you can get by with less paint but you still have to use clear coat over it,so the cost comes out to be the same,enamel it will take a gallon to do it right,good luck.,,you,ll have a small amount left over,keep it for touch ups,it wont take the full gallon but i wouldn't start in to it with no less than a gallon,How many auto pints of paint does it take to cover a full size car with 3 coats??
