Auto paint jobs?

I was wondering if Maaco does a desent job on full paint jobs. I dont want to spend a ton of money for a good paint job.Auto paint jobs?
'Good' is a very relative term. A $500 paint job is probably better than a 50$ paint job done with a brush by some homeless guy -- but not much. An industry standard 'good' paint job will run you about $2,800 and I don't think Maaco can even come close to that in quality. However, considering what their paint jobs cost it really isn't a bad deal. It really all comes down to how good you want your car to look. If you have a ten year old Cavalier then Maaco will probably be a good deal. If you have a five year old Vette, then better opt for the high end refinish.Auto paint jobs?
You have to pay for a good paint job. I don't care what the TV ad says.
Maaco is the same operation as Aamco. It is a schlock house, expect them to paint everything including the plastic lenses. And it will look like crap, and peel. You will not save money, you will need to take it to a place to undo what maaco will do. So you will pay double, take it to a reputable firm, pay once and enjoy.
You get what you pay for. Dont' expect a cheap paint job to last or look good.
