If you dont have alot of dents and rust, you can get a professional job for between 1200-1500. A candy paint job requires alot of different coats of different colors to achieve that effect. It should add about 750-1000 to the price. It is quite expensive. Check with a local classic car club. Ask the President of the club for a recomendation for a good shop in your area. Classic auto guys have to be picky about paint and they will know who is good in your area. Good rule of thumb is to stay away from Chains and car dealerships.
