Auto paint primer sealer?

I have a car that i did some body work on. I wanted to find out if i used primer sealer, do i spay just the worked area or i can spray the whole car with it.Auto paint primer sealer?
i own a repair shop,and we do some paint work also,you can spray the whole car with it,if you have it ready,but if not id just spray the area i repaired for now with it,because the surface does have to be prepped in order for it to bond right ,good luck,i hope this help,s.Auto paint primer sealer?

You can spray the whole car with primer, but if you do be sure and use the sand-able type in case you want to more work prior to actually doing a paint job. If not ready to paint just spray the area you worked on. The main purpose of a primer is to seal the metal to prevent further rust prior to painting and to give the new paint a better surface to stick to.
