If the paint is overspray and on top of a finished paint job, the best removal method would be a clay bar. These can be purchased at any automotive store. The clay bar is used by profesional detailers around the world. It removes surface imperfections without damaging the paintjob. It is very simple to use just follow the directions. Do not just go out and buy ordinary clay though, it must be manufactured for automotive use since there is alot more in them than just clay. How to remove spray paint from auto body?
here it is,do not use lacquer thinner or paint thinner if the car has been painted before, you will ruin your paint job,try ';goof off'; but do a small spot at a time, if it doesn't work try rubbing compound, last resource will sanding the damaged area with a 1500 grit wet sand paper,do it really lightly then apply rubbing compoun after that finish it with any wax materials you might have on hand, good luck!
laquer thinner should do the trick..
If the paint hasn't been on too long try spraying on WD-40 and rub with a towel. If that does't work try polishing compound. And last resort to rubbing compound.
Use rubbing compound then polishing compound after.
