I just had an inspection and they said I had to replace one because it had paint on it. i want to know if it is possible to clean it.CAN PAINT ON YOUR AUTO FIRE SPRINKLERS MAKE THEM NOT WORK? CAN YOU CLEAN THEM AND MAKE THEM WORK?
To add to Mark's answer, water will come out and it will come out fast. It will flood all surrounding areas and set off the fire alarms. Then the fire department will come out and charge you a few hundred for the call and possibly fine you for trying to clean the head. No you have to replace the head. Would not try to clean it, if you break the head,water will come out
